Magento / Infor Syteline

The epic

SAS International came to Rixxo with a vision of an easy-to-use online store.

The goal? The platform should make buying products a breeze and should be easy to expand into global markets, across multiple locations.

The site should be capable of handling personalised and set prices, catering to both small and big businesses. Plus, they wanted the look and feel to show off what SAS is all about: great design, support, and top-notch quality, all while staying true to their brand.

The big picture: To reach more customers and make selling a smoother process.

This was translated into four key objectives

Deliver a B2B eCommerce website built to best practice standards to increase speed and integrate all key data flows into Orderwise to reduce manual input.

Increase the visibility of C & A Building Products in search engines by improving organic search rankings for key terms, aiming for a 20% increase in rankings in the first 12 months.

Increase conversion rate on the website by 15% through ongoing analysis using conversion rate optimisation techniques.

Integrate the website with third-party tools to improve marketing and SEO and effectively manage customer relationships. Automating these processes to reduce manual data entry errors and lighten the workload for the internal team.

Our approach

To support global expansion, SAS chose Magento for its ability to handle various currencies, languages, and tax rules. The user-friendly site features a clear menu, organised categories, handy filters, and a quick search, tailored for trade professionals.

Recognising the importance of supplier-customer relationships, we added tools for personalised experiences, including company accounts, shared shopping lists, credit limits, and custom prices, ensuring a first-class user experience.

To simplify ordering, we introduced a ceiling calculator that determines quantities based on room size, reducing errors.

We integrated Salesforce’s Pardot forms to streamline customer support by directly linking eCommerce site data.

A crucial part of the project was integrating with SAS’s ERP system, Infor Cloudsuite, to manage stock, order updates, sales, and financial data efficiently.

By connecting Magento with Infor Cloudsuite, SAS International is poised for long-term success, improving customer care and business management. We were thrilled to help SAS make a significant digital leap, creating a robust B2B eCommerce platform for substantial industry growth.

Magento 2 Build: Migrate the existing functionality of the eCommerce website to Magento to build a reliable base for the automation of processes and integration of platforms. The Orderwise integration was split into separate projects for budget transparency and development efficiency.

Systems Integration: Implement an Orderwise integration to sync products, stock, customers, companies, credit, and orders, ensuring Magento reflects the master data maintained in Orderwise.

Website Launch Strategy: Develop a detailed launch plan to ensure a smooth transition for customers from the previous eCommerce software to Magento, using email marketing to manage the process.

SEO and Marketing Tools: Develop a comprehensive SEO strategy to achieve growth objectives, implementing SEMRush and providing training to the C & A team.
